PopCap Games announced a free DLC update is hitting Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on Tuesday, March 8. The third-person shooter for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC is also receiving its first major patch to balance gameplay, including a complete overhaul of Rose.

The Graveyard Variety Pack will be available to download for Tuesday the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. An exact time on when it will hit Garden Warfare 2 has not been announced yet, but it does add a new co-op and Team Vanquish map called “Aqua Center.” An alternate version of the “Great White North” set at nighttime is also coming.

The Backyard Battleground is being updated as well with new two new sets of activities. No new characters or classes have been added. Garden Warfare 2 has only a couple of weeks old after all so a large chunk of the update is focused on balancing certain characters with Rose receiving a major re-tuning.

Garden Warfare 2 players have complained frequently about changes to Rose at launch that made her overpowered. PopCap is attempting to put her back in the support role by lowering her health, reducing the range of her homing shots, and changing the Goatify.

Rose isn’t the only character to receive gameplay challenges. Both Corn and the Imp receive increases to their total health while Cactus’ damage output is nerfed a bit and Captain Deadbeard’s output was brought up.
